CCI Services - What we do
What we do | The Process | Resources
The principal object of CCI Group Purchasing is to employ the combined membership's buying power to broker efficient and most cost-effective acquisition of goods and services and to grant preferred supplier status upon successful tenders for a specific term. Regular monitoring of a preferred supplier's performance and their adherence to terms and conditions of supply is also an important function of the Association.
CCI Group Purchasing call for competitive tenders in 27 product and service groups with the list being continually reviewed to meet members' procurement needs. Research and pricing of capital acquisitions as well as product trial and evaluation can also be arranged.
To further enhance member benefits, partnerships have been developed that provide access to an additional range of goods and services.
The collective buying power commands considerable respect from suppliers and members should make use of the supplier list to ensure the best possible price, terms and conditions that are negotiated. There are significant direct savings to be made by using the CCI Group Purchasing suppliers, particularly in high volume consumables, and with ever increasing time constraints on staff, removing the burden of arranging and monitoring supply needs can improve both productivity and reduce staff costs.
The escalating demands of government, regulators and consumers on scarce resources, arguably, makes the wise and cost effective procurement of goods and services more important than ever before. CCI Group Purchasing recognises this need and strives for continuous enhancement of benefits for members.
